Rezhykling your old wetsuits

We’re delighted to announce that Zhik will be sponsoring our end-of-life neoprene collections at future events, as well as providing donation bins.

Zhik makes innovative water wear that pushes technological boundaries and propels the industry forward, working with world class athletes across sailing, rowing, paddling and foiling to capture generations of knowledge. Zhik is energetic, innovative and constantly pushing the boundaries, building on its impressive legacy, to make history now. For this reason, Zhik gear is the choice of Olympic and world champions around the globe.

Sustainability is at the heart of the Zhik brand, which has established its own wetsuit recycling programme, reZHIKle, throughout Australia and New Zealand. With reZHIKle, you can send back or drop off your old Zhik wetsuit so that it can be upcycled or donated. If the suit isn’t in the right condition for either option, it’ll be shredded into small pieces which will get mixed with other recycled materials from shoes and rubber items to create gym flooring, outdoor playground equipment flooring and rubber protective mats – rather than taking over 100 years to decompose in landfill.

With the same missions and passion to drive change, Circular Flow and Zhik have joined forces to expand a greener, more sustainable solution for end of life neoprene to the UK and EU market.

We can’t wait to collaborate with Zhik, and make sure that even more wetsuits are able to be recycled sustainably – rather than contributing to landfill and pollution.
